The pre Norman church of St Martin and St Meriadoc has splendid arches, fifteen stained glass windows, a 60â€™ tower with eight bells and a 15th Century carved pulpit, what more could there be, perhaps a painted copy of the letter by King Charles thanking the Cornish people for their loyalty during the Civil War.
