The small village of Aston Cantlow is set amidst the rolling countryside of Warwickshire south of Redditch with relatively good access to the M5 and the M40. The village architecture mixes relatively modern properties with a number of perfectly maintained and well cared for Tudor timber framed houses. Cantlow was briefly home to William Shakespeare’s mother, Mary Arden who in 1557 married John Shakespeare, it is believed that the marriage was in the church of St John the Baptist, however shortly after their marriage they moved to Stratford on Avon.
