Some Withernsea Cottages

Withernsea is a rather old-fashioned English seaside resort, and nothing wrong with that. Its population of just fewer than 6,000 is swelled in the summer months by visitors coming to enjoy the Blue Flag beach. Like many other seaside places the days of high volume tourism have gone, though the holiday parks in the area still do good business. And though there are still amusement arcades in the town, people visiting these days are perhaps looking for something a bit more demanding or rewarding. The town itself has the famous lighthouse in its midst, 127 feet high, standing way above the buildings surrounding it.
