Some Whitehall Cottages

Whitehall is the home of UK Government. This long road runs between Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square in two continuous parts - Whitehall and Parliament Street - and it's filled with Government offices and military buildings. The Cabinet Office, the Foreign Office, HM Treasury and the Ministry of Defence are located here, along with departmental offices. Downing Street, where the Prime Minister lives, runs off Whitehall to the west, although sightseers are banned from the road except by appointment.
