West Bexington is a small village on the southern coast of Dorset, close to the west of Weymouth and the east of West Bay. The centre of the village is on a hill that leads down directly to Chesil Beach. It is a part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The beach at West Bexington is a popular launching place for sea fishing. There is a Dorset Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve to the west of the car park, consisting of a shingle beach, wet meadow, reed bed and scrub. The reserve is an excellent spot for bird watchers.
