Tighnabruaich is a tranquil village on the Kyles of Bute in Argyll and Bute on the west coast of Scotland situated at the southern end of the Cowal Peninsula. The village was developed during the 19th century with a few marine villas, today it is a popular sailing resort with its own sailing school offering courses for all levels on sailing, windsurfing and power boating. The pier is regularly visited by Clyde Steamers and the popular tourist attraction, The Waverly, a replica of the 1940’s original and the last sea going paddle steamer.
