St Columb Major is an ancient Market Town in Cornwall with pretty countryside and on â€˜The Cornish Wayâ€˜ cycle network. Home to 3,100 people which is more than when the Romans were here in the 5th Century AD. The town was granted itâ€™s Market Charter 1333, and still continues today. The impressive 14th Century Church whose tower rises up to 80 feet is a prominent site. Once inside the architectural prowess is blatantly on display and is an impressive show from Centuries past. Maybe adrenaline and fun are wished for, and is soon granted with a visit to Westworld of Racing, the thrill of Banger and Stock Cars racing around the track is rarely beaten, unless perhaps by a trip to Retallac Waters which is a Rod Danglers delight with the chance of catching Perch, Tench, and Roach, or how about the thrill of the American Theme Park with live shows, and fascinating museums that tell a mesmerising story.
