St Boswells is a small historic village in the Borders region of Scotland situated 3 miles south-east of Melrose and 7 miles north-west of Jedburgh. The village was originally known as Lessudden but renamed in dedication to an abbot from Melrose Abbey c1500. St. Boswells is said to have the largest village green in Scotland, which has been the venue for an annual village fair each July since 1743. St Bowells is surrounded by beautiful country scenery ideal for walking, cycling, sight-seeing and fishing in the Rover Tweed.
