Some Southall Cottages

Sometimes referred to as "Little India", Southall is occupied by a large Asian community and filled with exotic sights, scents and sounds. It's located on the outer edge of west London between Hanwell and Hayes, giving easy access to Heathrow Airport. Southall is a residential area, although it offers a memorable shopping experience, especially on Saturdays in the Broadway and at the market. Here, the streets are alive with music and bustle and colour, with the shops selling everything from jewellery to rolls of cloth, and stall-holders distracting bargain-hunters with the tempting aroma of spicy snacks.
