One of the best kept secrets of the North West, the village of Rossett lies just south of the City of Chester which is minutes away by car. The village, despite recent housing developments, retains much of its character with a couple of village shops, three pubs and a good restaurant â€“ not to mention two hotels. With that level of service itâ€™s no wonder that this is a popular location in which to live. This was not always the case, at one time the man route between Shropshire and Chester was through Rossett and it was a village that was usually clogged with traffic â€“ today though there is a by pass and village life is a little more idyllic.
