Some Ross On Wye Cottages

To the South Herefordshire, set on a high sandstone cliff overlooking a large loop in the River Wye is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye. The view of Ross-on-Wye is dominated by the spire of St. Mary's Church, which is visible for many miles around. Built of red sandstone in the 13th century, St. MaryÃ½s has some interesting features and is well worth a visit. On the west side of the churchyard is the 'Prospect' a pleasant view point and garden where you can look down on the River Wye curving beneath the town.
