Pewsey is a large village surrounded by pretty countryside in the heart of the Pewsey Vale in Wiltshire, home to over three thousand people. It dates back to Saxon times and beyond, and was once owned by the Saxon King Alfred, whose statue stands ever watchful at the centre of the village. Picture book thatched cottages, and half timbered houses spanning the pages of history are uncovered at every turn, in the village that's famed for it's annual carnival where an explosion of delights takes place every year.
