Parkham is a small picturesque village in North Devon, with pretty thatched buildings, and 15th Century Church of St James, situated just three miles from the spectacular Devonshire Coast, and is home to over seven hundred people. For a chance to explore the great outdoors there is the Tarka Trail and footpaths that lead their visitor on a journey of discovery through fabulous scenery. Time is reversed at 12th Century Hartland Abbey, or there is always Docton Mill dating far back in history to Saxon times, set within eight acres of woodland, ponds and streams, if that’s not enough water there is Spekes Mill Mouth Waterfall, which gushes swiftly over dark grey stone cliffs, the curved beach below only adds to the beauty of this spectacular sight.
