North Kensington is a vibrant district situated within the larger area of Notting Hill in west London. It's bounded to the south by Notting Hill Gate and to the north by Harrow Road, its main street is Ladbroke Grove, and it contains some of the capital's most popular attractions. Chief among them is Portobello Road with its world-renowned, mile-long market. Saturdays are especially busy here as thousands of visitors arrive to soak up the colourful street atmosphere and bargain-hunters flock around the antiques stalls.
