The settlements rather than settlement of Liversedge in West Yorkshire are a centre without a centre. This anomaly is explained by the location of the place, right at the heart of the diamond formed by Bradford to the north, Huddersfield south, Halifax west, and Dewsbury east. Liversedge thus provides visitors, business people and those relocating with a convenient point for travel to any and all of those four places. But Liversedge itself is without a centre, formed as it is by a collection of villages including Flush, Norristhorpe, Hightown and Millbridge.
