Hornsea is an attractive seaside town in Yorkshire, with narrow streets and a jumble of old cottages dating back to the 15th Century, home to just over eight thousand people. A walk along the promenade will blow away the cobwebs, or if sea views, and sandy beaches are not enough, there's always the Amusements on offer, or walkers can enjoy The Trans Pennine Trail which ends on the seafront. Hornsea has an intriguing history from Smugglers to the 12th Century church of St Nicholas, or step inside the Folk Museum which has fascinating exhibits and the largest collection of Hornsea Pottery proudly on display.
