Hollingbourne is a village close to Maidstone, the County Town of Kent, and is located 43 miles from London Charing Cross. The village straddles the North Downs on the Pilgrims Way. In upper Hollingbourne there is an Elizabethan Manor House, home to the Culpepper family during the 17th century. All Saints Church dates back to the early 14th century and within the church are many monuments to the Culpeper family. This long, winding village has many listed buildings, and a village pond. There are 3 pubs in the village, The Windmill, The Kingâ€™s Head and The Dirty Habit.
