Fochabers is a small town in Scotland situated on the Moray coastal route between Buckie and Elgin on the east-side of the River Spey. Fochabers is a tranquil town surrounded by the beautiful scenery and wildlife of the coastal Speyside pine forests. It is a popular tourist destination with hotels and holiday accommodation throughout the area, the town has a variety of shops, places to eat out and a garden centre. Architecturally interesting buildings include the Georgian Church with clock tower dating from 1798, and Gordon Chapel with twin spires, the Folk Museum is housed in an old church in the High Street displaying a large collection of horse-drawn vehicles.
